Cauliflower Buffalo Wings
I am so excited that my church came out with a cookbook that are all recipe favorites from people who go there! I just tried my first one from the book, Cauliflower Buffalo Wings! They are fantastic!! We had this as a side dish tonight. We didn't drizzle the hot sauce over the kids' pieces. But we sure did on ours! Mmmmm!
Ingredients
1 head cauliflower
1 c milk
3/4 c whole wheat flour
1 T garlic powder (I used 1 tsp Tastefully Simple Garlic Pepper instead)
Directions
Preheat oven to 450. Trim the head of the cauliflower into bite-size and set aside. In a bowl, stir together the milk, flour and garlic powder. Dip each piece of cauliflower into the batter and allow the extra batter to drip off. Place on a greased baking sheet and spray the tops of the florets with cooking oil. Bake for 18 minutes. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat and add hot sauce, then stir. Toss cooked cauliflower pieces with sauce, put back on the cookie sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes in oven. Remove and serve with a side of blue cheese dressing, celery, and carrots.
