21 DFX French Toast

I've thought about it for a long time and I'm finally creating it!  A page to share the recipes that my family and I test and approve!  So here is my first try at this.  Let's see how it goes.

Ok.  Yesterday the kids had a 2 hour delay and I was off so I decided to make 21 Day Fix French Toast for breakfast.  I found an easy and delicious recipe.  Everyone loved it!! 

21 Day Fix French Toast (from fitmomangelad.com)

Ingredients

4 eggs
1 T unsweetened almond milk
1 T cinnamon
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1-2 T raw honey
2 tsp vanilla
4 slices wheat or Ezekiel bread (I used homemade Honey Oat bread from a little shop near my house, Swiss Maid)

Instructions
  1. Heat skillet over medium to medium high heat, spray with cooking spray
  2. Mix all ingredients and spices together in shallow bowl/dish (except bread)
  3. Coat both sides of bread in egg and spice mixture and put on skillet
  4. Cook for a couple minutes on each side or until golden brown
  5. Serve with fresh berries and some pure maple syrup

  1. 1/2 Red, 1 Yellow + toppings
